Courtenay Hameister
Associate Creative Director
Courtenay brings more years of marketing experience than she’d like to admit to Fish—for ad agencies and for Live Wire, a nationally-syndicated radio variety show for which she acted as host, Head Writer, and De-Facto-Head-of-Marketing-Because-No-One-Else-Wanted-To-Do-It for twelve years. She’s worked for a diverse client base over the years, from Disney to Nike to Microsoft and some high-tech clients whose products do things she has purposefully forgotten to make room in her brain for fun stuff.

Susan Beall
Director of Operations
Susan brings over 15 years of senior-level marketing experience to the table, both in-house and in the agency world. If she seems like a familiar face, that’s because she’s been with us before on the account management side, and we’re thrilled to have her back. Susan’s passions are driving results for businesses, being a mom, kite surfing and swimming with sharks (literally). Her best year yet was spent traveling the world with her 3 year-old son.

Roxy Parr
VP of Squeaky Toy Destruction
When Roxy comes into the office each day, she greets every employee with a smile on her face and a cold nose somewhere inappropriate. She gives 110% to obliterating her squeaky toys and expects nothing less from the rest of the Fish crew. She’s also really good at finding slivers of sunlight to nap in.

A natural born puzzle-solver who holds a degree in Economics from Leland’s Farm, David brings an efficient, analytical eye to every project. Applying his deep and diverse experience, he transforms graphic concepts into fully functional websites with the perfect balance of aesthetic appeal and responsive design.

Angela Tait
Media Director
Angela grew up in Oregon and graduated from U of O with a double major in English and Political Science. Working in media since January 2000, she loves every aspect of it—making all the puzzle pieces fit, strategy, creative problem-solving and (responsibly) spending other people’s money to help grow their business. Passionate about travel, cooking and football, she was overjoyed that her first job at Fish was placing a Superbowl ad.

Cosmo
PAWject Manager
Cosmo tackles every PAWject with a cool and calm demeanor. In fact, sometimes, we actually have to check to see if he’s breathing. Like his friend Billie, his job largely entails seeing how much of his body can cover the couch in the lounge, which, in his mind, prevents employees from taking breaks. (It does not.) When he’s not napping, Cosmo is always hungry for new challenges and is absolutely drooling to dig into client projects.
X
Meghan Verhey
Art Director
Meghan grew up in the Midwest, where she learned to be almost pathologically polite and bake a mean hot dish. Passionate about developing beautiful brands and helping them visually tell their stories, Meghan started a design firm with her husband and worked for a wide range of clients from agencies to CPG brands to city governments. When she’s not working, you can find her exploring the PNW, doing home DIY projects and watching every. Single. Blazers game.
X
John Robles
Digital Marketing Director
John has been crafting successful digital campaigns for clients for nearly half a decade. Before joining Fish, John was an independent digital marketing consultant specializing in Paid Social, PPC, SEM, and SEO. Prior to consulting, John led the marketing team at a media company working with top agencies and Fortune 500 clients. When John’s not working, you can find him biking around Portland or going on adventures with his adorable rescue dog, Bingo.
X
Milo Tait
BARKeting Coordinator/Security
Milo comes into the office every day anxious to share the newest trends in BARKeting. In his secondary role as Security Officer, it’s important to him that every visitor is loudly announced upon arrival to avoid the current scourge of Squeaky Toy Theft. In his spare time, Milo can be found begging for food, pestering his fellow canine coworkers, or becoming deeply, existentially concerned that his mother will never come back when she enters the restroom.

Nick Niebes
Brand Manager
Born and raised in Ohio, one day Nick packed his bags to head West, finish his education and snowboard his heart out. After working in the ski industry, he moved to Portland to work in the tourism/outdoor space while satisfying his love of volcanoes, multi-day activities, and darn good food. Nick brings a ton of professional snowsports and outdoor recreation marketing experience to Fish, as well as a strong philosophy of sustainable tourism practices and an apparent inability to use swear words.
X
Laurie Richings
Controller
Laurie is continuing what was an eight-year career at Fish—she’s back after a brief two-year hiatus and we couldn’t be happier. She brings a BA in English and over 25 years experience in agency accounting to the table, as well as a love of travel, hiking, gardening and an outsized love of dogs. (The Fish cabal of canines very much appreciate her treats and are glad to have her back.)

Donovan Cassell
Digital Specialist
Donovan grew up in Independence, Oregon and graduated as a Journalism major from U of O with a minor in Music. Since graduating, his career has taken him from radio stations to IT firms to marketing agencies—learning the ins and outs of digital ad strategy, web development, video production, and SEO. He’s also an accomplished vocalist, performing with the Portland choir In Medio and as a singer-songwriter. He’s excited to combine his ad-buying and writing backgrounds to create compelling digital ads for Fish.

Delaney Malone
Content Marketing Specialist
With roots in Maryland, Delaney ventured to the Rockies to pursue a B.S in Marketing and deepen her knowledge of snowboarding. Her growing love for the outdoors, beer and snow sports brought her to explore all Oregon has to offer and find a home on the Fish Marketing team. On the Fish team, Delaney is known for her attention-grabbing campaigns and infectious humor. When she’s not working, you can catch her performing stand-up comedy at local bars, at Helium Comedy Club, and on her monthly sold-out comedy show.
